There are probably two ways to lose weight. We can either reduce our calorie intake or we increase our body’s energy consumption. The great thing about green tea is that it does both… yes both! ; )

 The green tea diet probably being one of the easiest diets to follow increases one’s metabolic rate and reduces appetite at the same time. Green tea can help curb hunger so having a cup before meals (never order meals on an empty stomach; we tend to over order) and another cup after meals. Preferably, have it hot especially after meals.

Studies show that having cold drinks after meals is very bad. However, that’s another topic. Now, how does green tea extract help with these two things? (more…)
