We use both the left and right side of the nose to breath; i.e. inhale and exhale.

Though never really taking this into account, there are differences when you breathe using the left nose vs. the right. The right side represents the sun, left side represents the moon.

During a headache, try closing your right nose and use your left nose to breath. Repeat this exercise for 5 minutes and you will notice your headache go away.

If you are feeling tired, just do the reverse by closing your left nose and breathing through the right. After a while, you will feel your minds is refreshed.

The right side belongs to ‘hot’, so it gets heated up easily while the left side belongs to ‘cold’. It is said that most females breathe with their left nose; so they cool off faster. Most guys on the other hand breathe with their right noses getting them worked up.

One way to check is the moment you wake up, see which side breathes faster (left or right?). If the left is faster, you will have the tendency to feel tired. So, close your left nose and use your right nose for breathing, you will get refreshed quickly.

This can be taught to kids though more effective when practiced by adults.

This alternative natural therapy without medication is something that is worth trying especially if you are one of those people who are always tired and seeping coffee 24/7 or one of those who keeps taking painkillers to get rid of headaches.

Fitfully yours: We think it is worth a try especially it does not cost anything and should not cost any side effect. If it does, as always, quickly consult your doctor.
